Default Question on Cats!>!?!?!?!?!

hey guys i was wondering.. as of now i have no cats on my car.. but its getting to be more and more of a pain in the *** every year to get someone to get me a ticket and its costing me like 50 extra bucks.. so i was wondering just how much of a difference does having cats make performance wise.. what about high flow cats?? any input would be great thanks again guys!

Cats obviously restrict exhaust flow, so depending on the rest of your combination it could be a noticable difference to barely any at all, if your car is bone stock. High flow cats wouldnt be a bad idea, but I think it would be better in the long run to buy an already made cat H-pipe.

In a low HP situtation, its actually beneficial to have em on because the cats, even though they are restrictive, create backpressure and increase torque.
