Engine Starts second turn of the key????

Have been having a problem lately was wondering if anyone has had the same? Lately my car hasnt been starting good. The first time you start it for the day you have to crank it over then stop then the second time it fires right up no problem. Its almost as if its getting no spark or the plugs are warming up or something. Any info on this would be great thanks guys

Check valve in your fuel pump is bad pressure bleeds down over time when you first crank it, it has air in the system after thats purged it will fire up, repl fuel pump....check with a fuel presure gauge to verify first

I had this prob too. Id turn the key and I'd just get a dull thud. Second turn it would start right up. I thought it was something to do with my security system.
