SO here's the thing. I got a 5.0 HO that I'm installing in my 69'. I already got the engine and tranny in and everyhting is pretty much ready to go. Now comes the ignition system. Since I'm running my engine carbed I was told i needed a few things to go with this motor. First I was told to get a distributor from a 85 mustang. Next, I needed to get a duraspark ignition module with a blue grommet in the back. As far as the coil goes, I was also told that the coil
is pretty much universal and that I could use my stock coil. Anyways, I've hooked up the wiring to to the coil, module, and ditributor. But, I've tried to start my car sooo many times and I get no spark at all. I've followed sooo many wiring diagrams online that I'm seriously going to lose my mind because I've tried everything and the car still wont start...sighh...here is one of the diagrams I was following..without any luck...anyone got any ideas?

you need to trouble shoot in reverse from the plugs and figure out where your not getting spark from.

i got a ford hei is gr8 less wires and good up tp 7000 rpm..and i had a patronix2 in orig distrib..was good too... less wires ans 5 min install
