My water temp rises slowly only when at idle but then when i drive it goes back down to norm and is perfectly fine wut the hell could this be? And yes the fan is working perfect so wut else could this be? thx

either the stock gauge...they're messed up...or you got an air bubble in the system.

Yep, the stock gauges suck.
But if your problem is consitent in the way you have described, then I would say you have another issue.

An air pocket is the first suspect if you have done any recent work to the cooling system.

If you only have the problem at low vehicle speeds then you need to look at the flow capability of the fan.
Are you using the stock clutched fan?

If the problem is only at low engine speeds then suspect things like corroded radiator, failing water pump, etc. Anything that reduces coolant flow.

I have an aftermarket gauge by autometer an a stock fan but its pretty new.

radiator may be developing a corrosion blockage and with more flow it passes by ok, I would thy a flush and refill with new coolant and if when you flush out the old coolant it is all brown ad metal flake then time to replace the radiator.
Start by burping though, before ^.

i would check the fan clutch first and that radiator is full


fan should have some resistance when turning by hand (cold)
and tight when moving side to side
and yes a bad fan clutch will sound like it is working
