Default Rockers/Heads

I'm looking at the AFR 165 heads and wanted to see what rockers you guys would go with, if you had my setup. 1.6 or 1.7 and what brand. Also would you got with 58, 60, or 61 cc?

Thanks,

Also would you guys get them with or without a heat riser. Heat riser is emissions legal, no heat riser isn't.

58cc chamber has the best design. What cam are you running? W/ the 165's, you need to check piston to valve clearance on anything close to .530+ (straight from AFR).

Stock cam, but eventually I'm going to get a custom grind from Camshaft Innovations.

I did see I'll need to get the pistons fly cut for the AFR heads.

Would you go pedastal or stud mount rockers and 1.6 or 1.7?

Appreciate your input.

run the 1.6's and have Camshaft Innovations build you a cam to your specs. they'll give you a nice lift, so you wouldn't need the 1.7's.

actually scratch that. Call them up first, ask them.

Any brand of 1.6's you'd recommend?

So you're saying I should do cam and heads at the same time.

What if I do heads first?

Do the heads and cam at the the same time to save hassle, you will have to pull the intake both times, drain the antiftreeze.....if you want a cam, do it at the same time IMO
