well i have a set of 373s sittin in my garage and i was wondering if i could do it myself as im sure i have the tools or should i get a professional to instal it? just looking at saving some money, but no experience with it

any help will be appreciated

If the gears are not set in right your rear end is doomed have a pro do it. Plus when someone does it have them replace the bearings.

Yeh, while they're at it have them rebuild your trac-lok and replace the bearings just as preventative maintenance. The trac-lok kit is only 40 bucks and it doesn't take any extra time to replace. Gears aren't worth doing by yourself, as they have to be done just right or you will hear them whine, or even worse, blow up something in your rear end.
