Default shifting problems please help???

I am having problems with my shifting, and i dont know what it is. I am literally haveing to jam it into gears while im driving because its so hard to shift, Than there are days where it shifts smooth as no other. WHat could be causing this??? thanks

Gee, I thought OB was asking how to solve his shifting problems.

Diablo, how old is your clutch cable? I'm thinking it might be stretched or something like that. This would make it so your clutch isn't releasing properly all the time, thus only acting up sometimes. When the clutch doesn't release properly, it's a bugger to shift.

maybe thats MY problem!

Really tho, some times its easy as pie to shift, others its semi ok but it takes a second or two

first check the trans oil....then run out and get a firewall adjuster for the clutch cable

so i should check my tranny fluid first. i already have an adjustable clutch cable, what should i do with it??

ok i dunno if this is a dumb ? but where and how do u check a man tranny? i know there are a couple of bolts on the side but i was going to change the fluid and i couldnt get them off they where to tight.
