how do you remove the things that hold the trunk up on a notch? and how do you put them in? any help will be greatly welcomed

 

do you mean struts? yeah there is a u shaped pin that holds the ends onto the *****. get a flat head and pull the u shaped pins out and its the same way to put them on.....all those cars and no idea hoe to change struts???? come on now are you kidding?

 

not struts this is more like a torsion bar that runs from one side of the trunk to another

Look for different kind of clips here and there. You might have to put the trunk down and crawl under the rear seat to see if they will just pop off. Ive never really messed with them before but if they are springs be careful.

 

they are springish with all the tension upon them... the bar that hooks like in the thrid pic i have gotten off on both sides but as for getting them out of the trunk i have no clue lol Wheres Synyster Racing when i need him lol

 

anyone came across this before? i tried finding some old posts about it, to no avail

 

you have to basically pry them out....
