Can't deny that damm Buick......man those things are impressive to say the least......

If I had a shot at a Buick Grand National......much less a GNX I would slobber all over myself and probably give some goofy amount of money and do some stupid human trick.....

Man those cars just rule.............

go for the gran national no doubt. stupid fast with a few mods. a gn or a cyclone would win me over anyday. i love cyclones though, 4.3 turbo all wheel drive. they hook so god damn hard its unreal.

grand national's are the cars that got me turned on to turbo's and super chargers lol those things rock. When i got my el camino i was looking for a Grand nat or a 4 spd elky if i could find one around 7000 and in very good condition. well the grand national's i found for 7 were just well i've see pinto's that look better lol so i found my elky was near mint so i went that route would still love a grand nat. But i don't regret going with the elky since i just got a response from Gm about it being one of 590 Ss elcamino's with a fact 4 speed

the GM 3800 is one hell of a motor...especially in the GN guise...they are effing torque monsters.

its a GNX, i might get it. But i wouldnt mod it at all or even race it. Gonna keep it original and just sell it later on in life for alot of money. I might do it. i just got home and raced about 2 people today and raped them, i will miss the 5.0

I dunno, my dad had about three of them. Everyone of them had a turbo go out because of the oil lines busting or getting glogged. Those 1980's cars are bad about turbo's going out due to oiling issues. I like them myself, GN's. But, after seeing my dad struggle with oiling issues, i dunno, kinda turned me off from them. These were nice cars to, not primerd with bald tires or anything. They were fixed up, almost mint condition id say. He sold all of them when he got his Camaro though. [:-]

Oh, and depending on the driver...they were about a low 15-mid 14 sec car stock. And fixing them up, like fiveliterriceeater said, its pretty exspensive and parts are a little scarse. But they're are companies out there that sell nothing but GN parts.

I call BS on it being a true GNX, if you knew how rare those cars are you would know why I say this.

ORIGINAL: 93 LX FiveO

they are V6's not V8's

If it's a GNX is belongs in a garage under a cover because new they are worth 40k (back in 87) and today they are worth anywhere from 60k to 6 figures

If it's a t-type (only other turbo'd GN) its not intercooled and probably slower than your GT
Thats not really true 86 and 87 T-types were intercooled.

wasnt too informed about them. i just knew the earlier t-types (before GNX) werent intercooled.

there was only about 500 something GNX's made

i assume its a clone or just a t-type

the aftermarket is there but its expensive

and the GNX was a 13 second car from the factory but also cost in upwards of 40k in 1987

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Buick...QQcmdZViewItem

thats a real GNX

like I said.. they go for upwards of over 60k to even 6 figures

IMO they are nice cars but DEFINITELY not something you want to drive around. they are very 80's looking (interior is plain jane just like any other 80's GM G-body)
