Default Timing make a big difference?

OK when I had my car dyno'd it put down 332rwhp and 335ft/lbs tq but I came to find out at a later time that the timing was down to 8* because the kid that had it before me was an idiot and his dad had it turned down. Since then I have bumped it up to 14* and I am wondering if my hp #'s would show an improvement over last time.

yes you will see a difference, make sure you put 93 octane in if your timing is 14 degrees

your taking a chance of your engine pinging with a lower octane, if yours is set at 14 degress with 87 octane and not pinging i would raise it more and put in 93, the more the merrier, woot!

I wouldn't chance it b/c it only goes BOOM once. I run 93 @ 14*, too. Cheap insurance.

I don't ever run anything other than 93. I'm pretty sure my engine would absolutely hate me if I didnt. With my timing at 8* is it even possible to run 87 with forged pistons, rods, trickflowcam, upper lower tf intake, 70mmtb, tf tw heads, 30lb fuel injectors, etc.? When I use a 175shot of nitrous timing needs to be backed down to 10* right? O yea how much more do you think the hp went up?
