aod to t-5
I've got a 92 LX 5.0 and wanted to convert it from the aod to the five speed. I was wonderin if anyone has done it or knows around how much it would cost me. Also how long it would take I'll be doing all the work myself and I've done a tranny swap before just not on a mustang. Thanks for any help

Its HARD, definaitly one of the most challenging jobs to do to a Mustang I did the conversion put a stock T-5 in the car and blew the tranny in a week! Definiatly throw in a good tranny before the swap so you only have to do it once. YOu can get all the parts at a junk yard for cheap like 200 tops, then get a good tranny $2000 Clutch $200 and flywheel $300. THis way you know it will hol dup to whatever you do to the engine in the future!
