Ive been into stangs since the early high school years when my friends brother owned the cleanest red 1990 with nothing but suspension and cobras. Im in the market and this popped up on craigslist. I talked to a couple friends and they said 40k was a lot on a rebuild motor but i disagree. Obviously the owner has mashed in it but it should still hold together for a couple more years right? I feel like i should just buy the car for the 5 lug conversion rear end and paint.

i bought mine for $2500 when i was 15 ( i was shaking i was so happy to finally get one)and got upgrades on the engine and body

That car looks great from what I can see... I'd take someone with you to look at it if you're interested... the lope and idle of that F cam is likely to possibly cause you to miss some stuff when you're listening to it run... just some personal thoughts...

Its defiently not a bad car considering it has a full D&D front suspension, etc.

If the paint is good and its mechanically sound I would go for it. Definetly try to trop him some on the price though but I think thats a given lol

Looks really nice, if it does actually have all of that stuff listed. I think that's a pretty good price considering all of the mods on it. Only thing left really to do to is some aftermarket heads and a 70mm T-body to replace the 65mm one. Make sure when you look at it tho, print that list out and actually check for all of that stuff... or ask for some reciepts maybe.

I wouldnt say that its a steal or anything but if it runs good, looks good, etc. and you like it than I say go for it.
