Good Deal?

Good Deal?
Found a 1995 Mustang GT and want to see if the price is worth it. It is a "rare" color.. Saphire Blue.. 5-Speed, black/grey leather interior, 69,000 miles, stock motor, aftermarket high-flow cats, Chrome tips, Cobra rims with brand new tires for $7000.00. Looks really nice. Also.. if I purchased, would anyone be willing to take a look at it (in New York) and possibly trailer to Michigan for me? I would be willing to pay like 300-500 dollars (6 hour drive).

RE: Good Deal?
$7K isn't terrible, but I would try to talk whoever it is down into the 6's (as 88BlueGT said).
I'm now starting to realize that my 94 GT with 88K on it and in perfect shape for $7300 may have not been the greatest deal ever, but I must say it was well worth it
The 95 sounds like a nice car though. I say go for it if it's in good shape and the price is right.

your talking at least $300 in gas alone for any truck (10-12mpg) to haul a trailer from NY to Michigan, plus 12 hours (min road time)
but find out where the car is and how many miles door to door to your house and let me know. sounds a lil high but hard to say wiht out pics...

Its in Lima New York... traveling to Saginaw Michigan. Here is a Pic http://i6.ebayimg.com/05/i/07/f7/28/fc_12.JPG
Its a little far away for me, but here in Michigan, all the time I see mustangs go for way high.. and anything at 6-7000 will have like 100-140,000 miles on it. Just a few weeks ago, I seen a 1996 GT, Automatic, Decent paint not perfect, and alls it had was a couple of painted interior parts and some ugly *** chrome rims go for 8500 with 105,000 miles..

Okay thanks guys! He hasnt emailed me back yet but I am waiting. I think I may have sold 2/3 of my project cars, so I am on my way to getting my money. I've been telling my self since day 1, when I find a mustang.. I will pay 1/2 cash, and get 1/2 loan. So if the car was 7000, I would pay 3500 cash and.. yeah. It would probably end up being around 4000 cash if I get it shipped.. or find someone the trailer it for me. I finally just got a job, so I can actually afford to pay off a loan.. and right now I'm working 3rd shift.. over 40 hours this week (got called in twice on days off) and I am only 18.. so 200-250 a week is plenty for me But yeah I will keep you updated.
