I just put in my new ignition switch and i go to turn the key and i have nothing. Wont even turn over? What did i do wrong?

 

Ignition switch = lock cylinder or the electrical part on the column? .

sry an 89 gt but i dont have any power right now so idk what to do.

 

You still didn't say if you mean the actual switch down on the column or the lock cylinder at the top, but I'll assume the switch down on the column. 2 things come to mind. Either you didn't plug the harness back up (or it's not tight and plugged up properly) or you didn't get the push rod into the slot properly.
