Default Interior Fix

well, after a coup[le hard pulls my passenger side arm rest has fallen off the top and middle locations so its dangling from the last screw, how do I go about fixing such a thing?

has the screw been ripped from the panel? where is the damage? is it to the door panel or your armrest? I have used JB weld for many things it works wonders. You may be able to use it to tap a new screw hole its hard to tell what you have to do without seeing it for myself...

Is the pad messed up? They sell new armrest pads at yearone.com, 50resto.com, etc. for I think $39 dollars a piece

take the door panel off and put a bolt through the armrest instead of the screws, you may need to rethread the hole to a larger thread pattern

you can get a new arm rest clip for a couple of bucks at the dealer, you will have to rfemove the door panel to reach it, and stick with the lag screw for mounting
