Ok, I just called a shop to do my entire motor for arount 4500 to 5K to do a 331, AFR heads, cam, the whole nine yards they provide every thing. Do you think is that good or to much??? How much do you think is reasonable?

Need your help on this one guys! Don't want to get ripped off. If any of you have a motor that was built at a shop let me know and how much also any pro and cons about it. I was thinking it cheaper just to buy a motor already built?

Just in parts, including fuel upgrades, etc, I spent $5000. No labor. That's everything from the MAF sensor to the fuel pump. To me, it sound like some cheap parts are being used. I also got sweet deals on eBay for new and used parts.
