i am planning on building a 408w with 10-12 psi blower.
what is a good compression to run until i get the blower put on?

also what is a good blower for a 408w to push 600+ hp?

i wouldnt go any higher than 9:1

you can run 10-12psi with a 9.1 to a 9.7.....iv'e been looking stuff up and alot of people are missinformed here...yes your 8.1,8.5 are popular ratios for boost,but that's when you run crazy boost in my book 20psi...


if you have a good foundation/with a good tune 12-14 psi with above ratios will be fine....one other thing some neglect is your intake charge...if that air is hot you are losing big and asking for trouble...so get a after/inner cooler,and hell add a meth injection kit also..
so atleast when you are at peak boost you'll know your cylinders are keeping cool when the meth injection kicks in..

id run 9.0-9.5 for the compression. i have 9.5:1 and run 10psi with no problems
