Default bbk fuel pump

i got a 255 bbk fuel pump and they only gave me a clip and two wires to replace the connection between the top of the fuel pump to the clip on the top of the assembly, what is with the two lil holes next to where the clip plugs into the fuel pump that say plus and minus, they looked like there blocked off adn they didnt give any wire for that and my old one doesnt use anymore then the clip and the two wires it gave me, do i need to plug anything into there or why is that there, the holes looked blocked off with steel, so am i right i just plug the clip into the top of the new fuel pump and splice the black and red into the connection on the top of the fuel pump assembly, im doing this right now so help as soon as possible would be appreciated, thanks

I'm pretty sure that's all you need to hook up are the black and red. That's all that were on my 92.

Don't worry about the two holes. The pump is universal to fit several set-ups and toward the end of the manufacturing process is fitted with a connector to fit fox wiring. Just connect the two wires.
