Some of you may remember that, since I had my clutch replaced at Aamco, I've been getting this intermittent clicking when pushing the clutch down. The sound seemingly comes from within the bellhousing. Aamco pulled out my tranny a second time, and changed my bearing retainer, but that didn't solve the problem. I dropped the car off again today, thinking that I was not going to be pleased with the outcome. Wrong! The manager just called and said that they pulled the clutch out, and that visually, it looked fine, but they are just going to replace everything again to be sure...clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, clutch fork...everything...free of charge. Now that's what I'm talking about. So many shops around here would have just said, "tough luck, buddy." Anyway, just thought I'd share.
