Default Removing Antenna

I need to get the antenna cable and braket out of the fender. I can't figure out how to get it out though. I've got the fender completely removed and took the 4 screws off the base but I can't get the cable to disconnect from the base bracket.

If you're not going to use it again, cut on it. Keep pulling on it real hard.

Well the cable will unhook from the radio and should slid through a couple clips in on the heater box. Not sure about the 4-eyes but on the 87-93 you can reach them by just unhooking the glovebox and let it dangle. I dont think the cable will disconnect from the base that screws into the fender though.

Thanks boss I'll give that a try. I have an after market radio that just slides out so unhooking the antenna cable won't be a problem.

Boss is right. If the 4 eyes are the same as 87-91 all you have to do is unplug it from the radio. I just reached my hand back there and unpluged it and I pulled it through. Took a couple of mins and it was out.
