Default aftermarket coil

has anyone tried an aftermarket coil and noticed any improvement over the FoMoCo unit

I like my MSD blaster TFI, but the car had an Accel on it when I got it, so I'm not sure how much of a difference it actually makes. HP TV gained 4rwhp by installing new wires, plugs, and coil in a 92 (?) LX. More throttle response than anything.

i have a 93 notch,headers,h-pipe,flows,bbk cai,cobra 70mm maf,65mm tb.do you think i would notice the upgrade?

i noticed better throttle response and a lil more power

i would hit the gas from a stop and i would barely spin the tires..

now its a lil better and it feels more torquier..idk if thats a word..but w/e

You get some throttle response and helps at higher rpm

Yup +1 to all of you guys, I've got the blaster coil and it idles a little smoother and everything else that everyone has said.

It's funny because I went from an Accel to an MSD Blaster, but didn't really noticer anything.

May be a little better at higher RPM's, but I'm not sure.
