i think..my car is dying : (

It's been running rough lately, i feel like its straining to get to about 3k rpms.

I did mess with the air intake(stock) and when i turn my car off it made a whistling noise a couple of times, now it stops doing it.

2nd. i have a bad intake leak i still need to get fixed, but i dont think its gonna get any worse then it has.

3rd. i was in the garage and saw a red/brownish puddle. it could be transmission fluid or power steering correct?

Sometimes the steering wheel feels stiff..and sometimes when i have the clutch pushed in and push it into any gear, SOMETIMES it will shake a little. Its like its dry or something.. i dont know what it could be at all..

I REALLY HOPE ITS NOT MY TRANSMISSION. because i dont beat it on. i have my nights, but not every night.

yeah i dunno i have my nights sometimes but there are those mornings where i beat it on as well.

an intake leak??? Should be an easy fix. I'm not a noob, nor a master mechanic, but I'd go at the....****, not sure. Doesn't sound like a fuel delivery problem. possible clutch?

SPARK PLUGS & ignition wires!!!

Be my first (cheapest) guess.

On second thought, my fuel filter crapped out on me in my 90 LX like that.

But I could sit here thinking for a long time. GL
