Default anyone heard of fiberglass hoods flying up?

a few people have told me that its a common thing for a fiberglass hood to fly open during high speeds due to flex. they said hood pins are a must if u have a fibeglass hood. i dont kno what to believe.. anyone else heard of this?

The only way it happens is if the hood latch isn't adjusted propperly. I've had one for over 3 years now and never a problem. No hood pins. It's b/c the ppl installing don't know what they're doing.

Depends, certain brands tend to break and come apart at the latch. (i've seen this before) so yeah get hood pins.
