You should never rev an engine up like that when it has no load on it. (i.e. not in gear)

You rode in my car.......I shift around 6400 on my stock tach. I have seen my tach go past 7,000 rpms a couple of times.....miss shifted the damn thing. I know I am shifting in the upper atmosphere........

i was too busy holding on to look at the damn tach!! lol
