alright so my car will start up and idle a little rough or sometimes idle perfect. it feels like a cylinder or 2 arent firing right and when i put enough of a load on the engine or push the throttle down passed a point its pretty bad. i dont know if my engine is just toast or if my spark plugs are gone or even if i have bad injectors all i can think is its somethin within the ignition/fuel system. if its not a dead piston... ive kinda factored that out since sometimes but rarely now it will run perfectly.

86 5.0L

I thought it was just me, but when I use to start my car a noticed a cylinder or 2 werent firing, after a couple minutes it would be fine, but I still didnt like that, so I used a full tank of 91 octane gas and a bottle of STP fuel injector cleaner and put my car through the paces, and fulled it up again with 91 octane, ever since then I havent gotten the bad sound of a cylinder not firing, also I was having problems with start-ups, hot or cold, now that too seems to have vanished



EDIT: I had gotten a new fuel filter, fuel pump, o2 sensors, spark plugs and plug wires before that started happening, so those things werent it.
