Make the mark on the balancer over the line that marks where you want the timing to be set at. All your doing is highlighting it so its easier to see, I've always done that. Unplugging the spout connector removes any additional timing the ECU may add, and its important to do this so you don't get a false reading of the timing. It is usually located near the air box. Look at a repair manual for more info, if you don't have one now's a good time.

I've always used white, as long as its a bright color it will show up well. Looking on the side of the tranny somewhere is where you will likely find the #'s for em, but Im not sure where yours are. If its a 5sp then stock is a T5.

well its an auto and the people I bought it from put a different tranny in it some time and I don't think its a stock gt tranny and hear's why.....it looks like the drive shaft doesn't fit right and it won't go into 1st gear.....like I can't put in 1st gear cuz the shifter won't go that far back....either the linkage is off or its the wrong transmission...maybe like out of an escort or a 4 banger...I dunno

Bosch is cheap, easy, and the industry standard for 02 sensors. The sensors arent there for performance, their their to give an accurate a/f reading to the cpu
