Default fresh air

i have an 86 GT and im trying to get some quick horsepower for short money, the first thing i think of is a cold air intake, or maybe a march ram air system... which will give me better results?

Driving mostly on the street?

Get a cold air intake that has the filter in the fender. There's a few good ones to choose from. Beware of the no-name ones on eBay though. They may be cheap, but the shipping rates are outrageous. [:@]

The March Ram air pulls the air in down by the ground. You'll get anything and everything sucked up into the tube. Yes, the filter should stop that stuff, but that's more work for you to clean it out. It's also my understanding that the system doesn't really start to work (ramming air into the cylinders) until around 100 mph.

The March Ram Air is what I suggest, I mean yeah it is a little work when you clean out the filter.... But your gonnna get colder air in the car faster.. And I heard that it starts raming air into the cylinders at around 30... NO WAY! That it starts at 100, that makes no sense, logically.
