on southeastmusclecars.com there was a post of research that shows none of that **** works. that it all actually decreases mpg.

You guys are wrong. All of the top racers today have stopped building motors, and started using Turbonators. Can't you see how putting something in your intake path will build HUGE HORSEPOWER? And gas mileage? If you wanna fill your tank for the last time, get a Turbonator. Hell...the wife and I like them so much, we've started using them around the bedroom.
