Default B Cam vs. E Cam

In my car I am currently running a E303 cam with 1.7 roller rockers. This setup is resulting in about 220 duration with around .512 lift. And I was looking at ways of bumping my hp up and thought of putting in a new cam. But I have a 11.5 compression 347 so I cant go to high on the lift or I will get valve slap. So, does anyone know if it would benefit or result in power lose to switch to th B303. And if not what cam would be desired for my setup. Plus does anyone know what lift I will get from the B303 with 1.7 roller rockers.

A B cam will give you more top end power, + with larger displacement you will have a better idle than a 302 anyways. If you prefer to use the alpahbet cams a B cam with 1.7 rockers will work much better with your combo than an E. The B cam has less lift and works out to have about the same amount of lift as an E cam when you go to the larger rocker ratio.

As far as what cam would be best, its helpful to know your entire setup (heads, intake, desired rpm range you want to make power in, etc.) The FMS cams work best with better flowing heads, if you still have the stock heads unported then a split cam would be better.
