RE: RollCages!
I do not want to engage in an argument with anyone about this. However, I have a welded 8 point in what is now a legit 9sec. fox body. 4 of the welded point are actuall welded to chassis, not sheet metal. I installed the new rear end, connected the sub-frames with more than a $50 dollar sub-frame connector kit ( I had it done by a pro.) It was done with Chromoly tubing instead of carbon steel (strictly for longevity due to moisture borne corrosion inherent in carbon steel piping) and I guarantee it is strong.
As to the legitimacy of the bolt ins, I have no idea, I have NEVER used one in any of the 4 foxes I have had in the past or in the number five I have now. My only advice in cages is do not try to "cheap" it, it is only your life, and have somebody that KNOWS CAGES and or ROLL BARS do it, junk yard welding is great if you want your car to wind up in the junk yard.

So are you saying that Maximum motorsports roll bars are junk? They are not made of Chromoly tubing...
