What's the wisest thing can you do to a 1995 stock GT stang, for $2-$3000 for power?

when i say regular mods, maybe i should say common. I've done exhaust, pulleys, tuning, gears, TB-Plenum that sort of thing, and yes this 95 stang i just bought will be my 5th mustang. I've worked with the 4.6L engine only, i know nothing about the 5.0's or what they are capable of, what parts are out there for it, or how to make it fast. I know with the 4.6L supercharging is great. But with the 5.0 i've heard lots of people say "build up the motor first"... I'm also thinking that if i took the engine to a race shop, had them bore out the engine and put some performance parts on it that it could get me to 350+rwhp for 3 grand, but like i said, i not to keen on the 5.0's... and don't be a smartass

H/C/I kit with some sticky tires will get you into the 12's in perfect weather, good track prep and at sea level. Since you've got an automatic throw a stall and some gears into the mix and you'll be well into the 12's.

h/c/i= 2200
labor= 600
so 4500 would give you 400+ at the crank
3000 could get you 350 at the crank with a 306.

Ahh ok...
Just to let you guys know, i did buy the car today... looks great i'd give it a 8.5 outta of 10. really the only cosmetic things wrong a few small imperfections in the paint, and the drivers seat is very worn. for 4 grand i think i did pretty good.
But heres whats wrong with it...
1. The steering feels loose (maybe needs minor front end work)
2. Throttle linkage or cable needs to be adjusted or replaced, drive is where nuetral is, and so on...
3. Whoever put the alarm on wired it wrong because when you turn the lights on, no interior lights work, and the rear lights don't work... however when you lock the car with the fob, all the lights flash, so hopfully an easy fix.
4. there is a whine from the engine bay, i think its the power steering pump.
5. needs new radio head unit
I hope all that can be fixed for under $500

I meant forged stroker kit it a little more expensive but alot tougher if you want to boost it or go nos. I'd go with flat top pistons for nos or dish pistons for boosting

whats the stroker kit forged? do you have a link to it?
Whats H/C/I?
haha
