Is a off road h pipe with high flow cats that much quieter than the plain off road.? I want the sound but i want to stay legal..

 

catted h pipe is stock.... even with 2 cats its quiet you want a high flow x pipe w/ cats or offroad h pipe, y b legal...

 

Im in the same predicament. Im probly going to do exhaust around christmas assuming i have enough money by then, and i want an O/R H pipe, but i have to pass emissions every other year, and i dont have the time/money to take it off and put the original back on. It sucks, cuz going legal costs a bit more money also.

 

I am going to go with a catted h pipe... but I also have LM 1's so they will make up for it. O/R pipes are louder but not TOO much louder.

 

Midpipes are very easy to switch out. Just order the offroad one and put on the catted one when you need to get inspection.

 

THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE IN SOUND. BUT IF YOU NEED EMISSION TESTING PROBABLY KEEP THE CATS,OR FIND SOMEONE YOU KNOW TO TEST IT AND LOSE THEM.
