RE: bad to drive?
You could but if its anything like my electronic distributorless ignition on my old taurus youll want to change it soon. Fords are pretty resilient to damaged parts just dont go too long. But my camshaft positioning sensor and syncronizer were bad on the taurus and I still drove it for over three months like that. Just be warned that it may leave you on the side of the road needing the new dizzy, worst case scenario. Chris

Well the bearing gets worn over time and doesnt spin smoothly and straight, it starts to wobble just alittle over time and make a chirping type sound and then eventually it will catch and sieze up. Actually you could possibly damage the camshaft and oil pump now that I think about it because they both connect to the dizzy. Someone correct me if im wrong but I doubt it would be too bad for the next week or so, just go easy on it and you should be alright. Chris
