Default Engine Skip Need Help

I have a 1987 Mustang LX 5.0 Conv. I have a Skip in the motor every now and then. It is a dead miss at low RPM's and I am unable to figure out the problem. This has had to happen to someone else. I have tried: New Plugs (Autolite's Twice), New Wires (Twice), New Plenum Gasket, Used Injectors (Twice), Rotor Cap, Button, Computer and nothing seems to be working. The Computer Scans for a Thermactor bad but I can't see where this would cause this problem. If you drive the car like you stole it, it does not miss. It is everyday driving that is the problem. The mechanic said if it was a constant dead miss, he could fix it but it's not. Only once in a while while driving at low RPM's . Anybody have a suggestion?
Thanks
