Default 87 5.0..

Ok so I had a problem a couple weeks ago where my mustang wasn't going, well now that it has cooled off, it will start for a few minutes then turn off..

I am wondering if that could be the ignition coil getting hot and not holding charge?

check the TFI its located on the front of the distributor
