I guess everone's definition of lightly modded is different. I CALL BS ON EVERYONE'S BS STATEMENTS!!! I use 5,000 weight mobil 2 u joint oil to support all of my 5,000 horse power from my twin turbonators.

I need some square muffler bearings, and pink blinker fluid to maintain my blue powerband.
Edit: I am still waiting for my flux capacitor to arrive. If I had it I could just shoot into the future and get it, but I don't so here I sit.

Well hey, it's a common thing to index spark plugs. It's all about getting the most power out of your setup. $15 for a set of shims is a cheap 5-10 horsepower.

I can see how a dyno test could provide 5-10hp
IF...
The car shows up at the dyno for its first run with 50k mile plugs, and makes the second run with fresh indexed plugs.
LOL
On the other hand...
I just read an SAE paper which examined the spark kernels of 7 different plug styles.
The photo above (provided by tuff5liter) is pretty accurate, based on this paper.
Another advantage of rounded tips is that there are no sharp corners to create hot spots (which will cause detonation).
The wort plug in the test?
You guessed it... The 4 prong plugs. I think Bosch makes these?
Basically the multiple prongs prevented the flame kernel from growing normally.
If you want to read the paper...
Go to the SAE website and look for paper #2006-01-0224.
SAE will hit you up for 10 bones, but it was a good read in my opinion.
