I can't wait to here about this. This just reinforces the idea that too many ricers are out there with no respect to higher authority. The few good ricers out there with good cars that are making real power are just few and far between. It is not that they can't be made fast. It is the fact that too many of them have no idea what a fast car really is.

very true 86/02 i remember when i drove a taurus and i beat my friends jeep and i was 16 and i thought i was hot **** cuz i beat this kids car. Then i got my 99 v6 and had a better idea but since moving to the 5.0 i have a better idea of what fast is and can respect all cars for what they are.......in the end the type r will lose

ok,..the results were impressive for me...5 car lengths i won by...he said i was sprayin but i didnt///he had juice and wanted to run with juice so ok//i won by 4 cars about....he ws mad and said his car wasnt shiftin right...i was like ok..he wantto doi t again..i said no thnx,,once is enuff...they are pretty quick cars tho...i had too get a new carb..tho i got a 770 holley avenger......my edelbrock 600 didnt get enuff of somthin... anyway thats the results yall...end of our first race i was doin about 95mph..after sec i was doin about 105...

 

^^^ A Holley 770 on a 302? Damn....thats waaay to big of a carb.

BTW...Edelbrock carbs arnt worth a sh*t IMO.

Sell the Holley 770 and get you a Demon 600....you'll never look back from that swap i guarantee that.

 

lol no edel brock call for a 750 in race... holley avenger says 770 good for up to 400hp..wellim at 394 so and thats not including juice...i have a 600 edelbrock but dont give me the power i like....no if i can just get my timing allmost perfect ill be ok..

 

by the way iahad a demon..im still hooked on holley and edelbrocks...demon was ok...but for my det up it didnt do as good as the holleys...

 

it would've been a lot worse for him if you stayed in it until the end of 4th...you should've offered to race him motor to his juice...probably still would've beat him
