Default Long tubes

Installing some BBK Long tubes and a 2.5 inch H-pipe and flows. What kinds of gains should I expect, I read that you gain good torque? Anything else I should know as far as the install?
Its gonna be on an 86 GT with a carbed 302

Default RE: Long tubes

with stock heads, not much. Maybe like 5hp and 5-6ft lbs of torque, but when you add heads its going to go up, the stock heads are a bottle neck in the exhaust system. Damned E6's, worst thing ever done to a modern Ford V8.
