5.0 difference???
O.k a quick question what's the difference between the 93 and 94/95 gt's that cause for different supercharger kit's(paxton)? Can the 93 kit be used with a 94/95 or does the kit have to be for the 94/95 models? The reason I ask is because I always see the 93 (paxton) kits costing less than a 94 kit.
Thanks!
Thanks!
the reason the kit for the 94 and 95 model is because we have a semi rare car just like our cold air intakes usualy costing more... the reason things cost more for us is theres only 2 years our car was made, so companies make less on products for your cars. but to answer your question the difference is body style, the kit for the 93 should fit as long as they go on the same side of the engine since the motors are identical. if it's a kit with an intercooler i would ask the company for spec. for the intercooler for both cars. the kit may take a little modification for the brakes on the intercooler. personaly i would get a roots blower instead of a cintrifugal or how ever you spell it, i'm looking at getting the kenne bell 2.2 flowzilla and then making my own intercooler for it in class... o where are you from if your somewhat close maybe i could help with the install if you need it. i'm in ohio for school but live in michigan when i don't have classes. any other questions i'll be glad to help

The fox S/C kit probably wont fit the sn95. The reason theyre different is because the sn95 has less hood clearance than a fox. If Im not mistaken I believe the 94/95 upper intake is shorter than a '93. Not positive but pretty damn sure.

i agree it would make more sence to buy the kit for your car but with sc kits if the sc that they come with are the same then the only difference it the bracket... and it the bracket is the only difference then it'll prolly be more cost efficient to modefy the bracket, the only thing you might have problems with would be the battery whaich is easily relocatable and gives you better weight transfer in the process. and yes the hood of a sn95 does have less clearance i forgot about that when i wrote that lastnight... but most supercharger kits mount no higher than the top of the intake (other than roots blowers) i know thats the case with the procharger set up. had a buddy that bought the wrong kit on accident and we jusrt made a few more holes in the bracket, moves the bat. to the trunk, and made new brakets for the intercooler and it fit just fine

That's not true. If the kits made for the 93 would fit in an sn95 style, then they would say that. It has nothing to do with the body style itse;f. The parts are different because the engine bay is smaller in an sn95 Mustang. I guess it's kind of related to the body style, but not really. If the engine bay is smaller, you are going to have issues fitting certain things in there. Ypu may be able to squeeze some things in there with some modifications, but it makes more sense to simply buy the model that was designed for the sn95.

I also agree that the upper intake is a different shape... the fox plenum shoots straight left to the passenger side of the car. The 95 goes straight left, then has like a 145 degree elbow that swings slightly forward... I think that would force the elbow between the blower and intake to be shaped differently... For a roots style though, I don't think there would be any difference except possible hood clearance, and the kit would bolt on to either one.
