Rebuilding Motor
I currently have a 302 with GT 40 heads a TFS stage 1 cam, 1.6 roller rockers and I am looking at rebuilding the motor. I am basically doing this to change all of my gaskets and seals but while I am in the process, I am going to need some help along the way. I needed to know since this is my 1st mustang would it be faster to dissasemble the motor inside of the car or would it be faster pulling the whole motor out ? I have worked on LT1's and this seems as if it would be a little easier but I just need to know if there are any tricks or anytype of information I need to know before starting. What would be the best roller timing chain to install ? If anyone can help on making this process faster I would really appreciate it. Thanks
I am also going to install an upper and lower trick flow intake is there anything I need special for this intake or does it bolt right on. Thanks

RE: Rebuilding Motor
id pull the motor then put it on a stand and go from there. NUMBER EVERYTHING AS YOU TAKE IT APART!!!!!
And dont throw any thing away until you get everything back from the machine shop and get it together and back in the car and have it running.
