Throttle Problem!!
Ok so I finally figure out why my car was running so rough. The vacum line to the MAP sensor had came off. I replaced the line cause it was in bad shape. Now the car runs GREAT. However I am having this problem with the throttle. When I get on it it seems like it takes a sec or 2 to get going. Should there be this delay in it?? Also when the car warms up and I get on it when it reaches 3000-3500 rpms it sounds like a very very small back fire and it only does it once. Doesn't seem to hurt how it performs though. Could it be maybe my timing needs to be reterd a couple degrees?? I have it set at 14* now. Starts right up and drives fine cold. Also the plate inside the TB seems to be sticking at both idle and WOT I tried taking it apart and cleaning the hell out of it with TB cleaner. Could the TB just be worn out?? I took the car out for a test drive thinking I had it fixed and the throttle got stuck at about 4500rpms while I was still in my neighborhood.. Kinda scary since all the little kids were out and about. Just when I was pulling into my drive it became unstuck. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks.
