sorry for taking so long i had been trying to trouble shoot and now it's dark out, so tomorrow i will pull off the fuel line to see if even enough fuel is coming out now and to see if the floats in bowls are not just sticking open, and yes the original electric fuel pump for the 2.slow is in there, and i'm pretty sure that it is not flooding. so do the next steps i described sound logical since my local mr. goodwrench(father-in-law w/ loads of experience) thinks it may be the floats sticking up so the carb doesn't get anymore gas from the tank? thanks again everyone for your patience and info
