Default adjusting shift points

Vehicle: 1995 GT, supercharged, AODE tranny, 3.73 gears

I'm definately going to have to reprogram my shift points so that I stop hitting the rev limiter at WOT. But I'm not sure which method I have to go with to do this (I have heard two different stories.)

I have heard some people say that even though it's a 5.0, the computer on the 1995 Mustang GT does have the capability to be reprogrammed. They tell me that I could use a programmer to adjust the shift points on my tranny (to lower them.)

Others say that it's not possible with any 5.0 and I need to get a custom burned chip that will adjust the shift points.

Does anyone know for sure which way I have to go with this? Either way, does anyone have any recommendations on where to get this done? I don't really want to spend a ton of money to simply reprogram shift points...but it needs to be done ASAP.

Already had her on the dyno when I was messing around with fuel while trying to get the most out of it. Nothing great, but it's as far as I dare push the stock block anyway

With the water / meth running, I was looking at 318 HP / 347 TQ to the rear wheels. I have no idea what that would translate to at the flywheel (factoring in the fact that it's an auto as well.) I have heard that the HP is anywhere from 15% - 25% higher. And I don't feel like pulling the engine out to stick in on an engine dyno just to find out

I expected a little more RWHP, but then again it is an automatic, LoL. It pulls like a MF'er though And I love the sound of it (the Procharger.) I don't think I want to add too much more HP though until I get a new engine. Maybe a 351W or something. Afraid of splitting the stock 302.

I'm running 10 PSI as well, bu nowhere near as high as his HP! To be honest, I could probably get more out of it. I'm only running my timing at 18* BTDC. With the water / meth injection I could run the timing mich higher, but I don't want to be too aggressive incase something goes wrong with the injection system.
