This febuary i plan on putting around $2000 in my car all i currently have is flowmaster american thunder catback and bbk intake what do you think are some other helpful mods?(besides headers gears and h pipe)

 

headers gears and h pipe... jk are you installing this yourself? Or paying osmeone to instlal it for you cause if your paying someone then there goes your 2k on just those three mentioned

 

well you cant just say besides gears.. cuz gears are really nice and really cheap.. and really easy to get.. so 3 for 3 i would get them as on of my first mods.. but look into TFS top end kit.. i think summit has it for like 2100 i think..

 

Other than headers, h pipe and gears (which is the stuff you should do first) I'd say go with a head/cam/intake setup with other supporting mods, TB, MAF etc. Keep saving.

I had about that to put in my car and being cost cautious i bought the following:typhoon upper and lower intake(NEW), 373 gear (used) bbk 1525 headers(EBAY), 65 mm ford racing tb(USED on the forum), H pipe (EBAY), nitto 555r's (DISCOUNT TIRE DIRECT), Lowering springs and all that cost me about 2k. I did these mods one at a time usually every other week, and I can tell you that the car doesnt even feel the same. AT first i used to get beat by almost anything I raced and when i got beat by a cobalt ss I put my foot down. Know I am neck and neck with a auto 03 Corvette and can hang with an 06 Gt and GTO. I also am a big beliver in NOS, if done right there is absolutly nothing like it.
OH PS if you can afford it heads and cam make the biggest difference on our cars! Muatang Heads suck
