here's the situation.......... im tired of 302s right at this point and looking to drop in either 351w,429,or 460. which one would cost like to maintain and still put out some horse and fit with motor plates? another question is where would I be able to find them? I just heard from a friend who works on cars that you can make the 429 or 460 work with motor plates. fyi: I would be getting the complete engine all for the same price

I'd go with the 351w...it bolts right up and you can build them to be real screamers...you can punch one out to a 434. You can find them in any junkyard, ebay, magazines, etc...they're cheap to build and maintain.

well that's exactly where they are coming from [8D] . just in one junkyard I saw 7 351w and 4 460s

351 then stroke it!! Its as close as you can get to a direct bolt in, and you can hit some serious numbers with it
