how wide of a tire can fit on the stock 16 x 7 ponies? I have 205's on there now. can i go any wider?

I've got 225's on my 16x7 ponies. I could get a close up picture of them if you would like. they look normal on there so I'm sure you could go a little wider.

225s are what came on the Pony's stock. I'd think that you could go wider but when the tire is wider than the rim on sports car, it doesn't look good.

I would go 245/50/16's.

225/50/16 is what I have on front. 245/50/16 is what i have on back. The 225/50/16 is kind of a bad picture.

My car has ponies and uses 245/50 Daytonas. They look f-cking nice, I'll post a picture.
