Use penetrating oil....the torch will heat up the bolt and expand it. Also, the red loctite isn't superglue...I've used it on my DS bolts and had to remove them w/o too much effort. Make sure your tranny is in gear and your parking brake is on, that will keep anything from moving when you crank on it....

fit the breaker bar on teh bolt? im talking about a pipe dude.. ahah get a pipe that will fit teh wrench and use the leverage. the more leverage the easier it is for the bolt to come loose. trust me.. i work at my dad's transmission shop.. we gotta do it all the time.. ahha
Jacks have handles for a reason I like the two piece one we have at home... when working in tight spaces... take the handle apart and you got a shorter bar... when working and you need force, put'er back together. S*** you should see one of the solid jack handles my dad has at his shop... it's got like a 1/4 circle of a bend in it because of how much we use it (it's 20 years old as well...) but it's great, perfect bend for checking ball-joints, prying down control arms... all that fun jazz.

Huh? You don't heat up the bolt, you heat up the flange, you never put the flame on the bolt. Sure the bolt will expand some, but the flange expands more, also burns the loctite inside if there is any

internal corrosion may be at hand here. ive seen mechanincs not give a dam and just use a impact, making the worse senario later.

keep that torch on her for 60 seconds each bolt, it will come out, if not drop the whole thing, MOTOR MOUNTS !, dam your in my bolts hear, PB blaster overnight and torch, and boy they will fight

Whatever you do, don't use penetrating oil and then use the torch. Found out the hardway yesterday that knock er loose is flammable [sm=badbadbad.gif]

Okay, so I've put together this list of things to get those damn bolts out:

1) Oxy-acetylene on the flange
2) Bigger impact wrench
3) Long *** pipe
4) Lots of penetrating oil over the next 2 weeks until I try again.

Any more suggestions?
