Default what cam?

I just got my block back from hot tanking and boreing to .030 over. I want to build a stroker but don't know what the best cam is. I'm a rookie so any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks for your time.

there is no "best" cam.

Each cam is designed differently, so you need to figure out what you want to do with the car, what kind of power you wanna make and if you want to boost it... then call comp cams and have them make you a custom grind

Am I correct in assuming it's not good to use the stock cam?
