What kind of distributor gear do i need to run with my trick flow cam. Can I run a bronze one or do i need to run steel? have a 289-302 distributor and want to make sure I don't destroy the cam

Steel lasts forever. For the 289-302 dizzy....FRPP's M-12390-B is the correct one to use.

curious caus I think i already screwed up and ordered bronze. Can easily be fixed tho. Is the only disadvantage to bronze that it wears more quickly? Or will the steel in this cam cut right thru it in no time

Bronze gears are "compatible" with HR cams....but it won't last.

So i prolly should put that gear in before i put in the distributor ?
If your distributor is the OEM/stock one.....it already has the steel gear for the HR cam, '95 dizzy right?.....no need to change gear.
