No. Just jack the motor up. If your going to replace them, do it right and use polyurethane mounts. Be a good time to do your tranny mount too.

+1 not very hard with basic tech skills, if you do go urethane, you will have to get trans mount to do it properly.

might as well replace motor and trans together, get a matching set for all three... just unbolt, jack up under oil pan, and replace mounts, lower in and bolt back in place...

Energy Suspension has a poly kit with engine mounts and trans mount. It's pretty easy to do. Just take the motor mount nut off each mount and jack the engine up by the oil pan. BE SURE to use a wooden board between the oil pan and jack to spread the weight of the engine out evenly or you will kill your pan.

Not hard. I went with solid mounts when the stock rubber got weak. Took about 2 hours to do both motor mounts and the tranny. Didn't get as much vibration or noise from the solids as most would think, but definate difference in hard launches. Make sure and loosen both mounts before you jack the motor up. +1 on remembering to put the wood between the jack and oil pan.

will those give you more vibrations in the car? I'm gonna do my mounts when the engine is out but i dont want my car to shake and buzz and stuff b/c of stiffer mounts...
